How you’ll contribute:
You will support and develop contact networks for Client Directors and support new business and key account growth.

What does that look like day to day:


Research and planning

  • Researching target accounts
  • Identifying target contacts and build detailed contact plans to develop opportunities

Sales activity

  • Deliver against lead generation targets by pro-actively creating and responding to contact opportunities
  • Support and attend Brightwave marketing events and client meetings, building relationships, promoting Brightwave services and co-ordination of the follow-up actions as required
  • Organise and plan weekly pro-active activity to achieve set targets
  • Pull together relevant Brightwave collateral to send to contacts
  • Actively seek new contacts within existing and parent accounts to drive additional opportunities
  • Work closely with the Account Director and marketing teams to create opportunities and firm commitment via campaigns/events
  • Target key contacts within sector; confidently articulating the core Brightwave propositions with succinct, tailored messages
  • Effective outbound calling/email to targeted accounts
  • Use social media to build and maintain relationships with potential clients

Knowledge capture and sharing

  • Ensure excellent record keeping on the sector portfolio of accounts to include regular updates and maintenance of Salesforce.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team to understand what the latest collateral is and how this can be tailored for each new client
  • Mapping and updating organisational structures and business changes for target accounts
  • Contribute to the wider team through the sharing of ideas, experience and knowledge, and avoiding duplication of effort
  • Capturing industry, sector and competitor data in a manner supportive of our desire to share internal knowledge more effectively
  • To add value to the team through feedback and coaching, sharing of ideas, knowledge and best practice approaches

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to communicate effectively and build rapport at all levels in an organisation
  • An ambassador of Brightwave, immaculate personal presentation and preparation when attending client meetings or events
  • Flexible attitude and able to succeed in a changing, challenging and fast-paced growing environment
  • Understanding of corporate buying behaviour
  • An understanding of operational management or learning and development is an advantage
  • Key Account Management/development experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
  • Strong and evidenced planning and organisational capability
  • Resourceful with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Good use of MS Office (includes PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Proactively looking for ways to develop their knowledge through the attendance support and attend Brightwave marketing events and client meetings, building relationships, promoting Brightwave services and co-ordination of the follow-up actions as required (part of development to do the job better)
