Job description

You will be working with our e‐learning production team to integrate a variety of assets (text, graphics, audio,video etc) to create web‐based interactive e‐learning. You will use a range of content integration

and authoring tools to achieve this.

Activities

  • Using a range of e‐learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, gomo, Elucidat, Coursebuilder, Adapt or Brightwave's own Waveform framework.To take a range of content assets (including text, graphics, audio, video) and integrate them to create interactive elearning courseware.
  • Follow detailed specifications (design document and scripts) when integrating courseware
  • To carry out basic manipulations of graphics, on occasion
  • To work with issue tracking software to log progress on resolution of open issues
  • To take part in relevant project team meetings and functional team meetings as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Follow established production processes in all aspects of work
  • Work to Brightwave quality standards
  • Collaborate with other members of production team to produce e‐learning courses and other resources
  • Provide feedback and ideas which could help improve the quality of an individual piece of work or set of projects
Skills and experience
Essential:
  • Enthusiasm, communication skills and ability to work competently under pressure
  • Rapid learner
  • Excellent attention to detail and an eye for consistency
  • Methodical, logical and process driven approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Desirable:

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, XML or Javascript
  • Familiarity with web technologies and web development software
  • Basic Microsoft Excel
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop accompanied by good visual awareness
  • Experience of any authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, gomo, Adapt etc. Training would be given in those tools that you are not familiar with but we do require experience in at least some of these
