Or perhaps you have already cut your e-learning scriptwriting teeth and are keen to develop your career in the best e-learning company around! Whatever your situation, if this opportunity excites you, then we'd love to hear from you. The successful candidate receives the training and support to really fly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking a brief from the leads in your project team - Learning Designer, Graphics and Technology.
  • Attending meetings with clients to research and gather content and become familiar with the client organisation, target audience, culture and brand.
  • Creating detailed storyboards following design specifications and writing full scripts, including audio, video and animations.
  • Ensuring scripts are complete and accurate, polished and delivered on-time even when deadlines are challenging.
  • Communicating effectively with the client's subject matter experts and other members of the Brightwave team.

Skills/Experience

Your skills and experience are important but the right attitude is really what matters to us. You should be able to combine attention to detail with a clear writing style and real creative flair. We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in delivering great solutions for our clients and we welcome applicants who have experience of writing in other related fields who are enthusiastic about what they can bring to the Brightwave team.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven writing skills including a flexible writing style and eye for quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to grasp and understand new and alien subject matter more quickly than anyone else.
  • Flexible and resourceful problem solving and being able to tackle setbacks and obstacles.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise the elements of a subject logically and clearly.
  • An ability to take even the driest subject, get under its skin and ensure its relevant in terms of the business objectives, audience, content and available media mix.
  • Strong visual awareness and interest in visual communication.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging technologies and media, and an excitement about their creative potential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
