Job Description

Brightwave is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Project Coordinator to support the production of our custom e-learning projects. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain or consolidate experience in all aspects of multi-media project production with potential to develop as a project manager in the future.

As a project co-ordinator you will work closely with project managers to support e-learning projects throughout the whole lifecycle. You will work with a team of internal specialists and will foster successful relationships with our clients.

About You

You may have recently graduated and are looking for your first career opportunity. Or you may already have some commercial experience under your belt and are now looking to develop and grow your skills and career in a creative digital agency. Whatever your situation, skills or experience, you will need to have enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to succeed.

Primary responsibilities

You will:

  • Support the project manager in a range of tasks including maintenance of project logs, organisation and documentation of meetings, planning and booking resources for projects, production of purchase orders, invoicing, project setup and closure.
  • Track project tasks and deliverables, updating project plans as necessary and communicate regularly with clients and the project team about project progress.
  • Monitor and resolve issues on projects prior to releasing deliverables, escalating where necessary.
  • Assist in the QA and testing of deliverables.Release deliverables to clients following agreed processes.
  • Manage the version control, storage and distribution of all project documents.
  • Follow Brightwave quality procedures and project controls.
  • Plan and attend audio sessions, photo and video shoots.
  • Be able to travel (mainly within the UK) as occasionally required to meet the demands of the role.

According to skills and experience, the role may also include elements of e-learning development, testing and QA and basic graphics work.

Skills / Experience:

You will be:

  • Highly organised and have a methodical approach to work and the ability to understand and follow processes.
  • A great communicator (written and oral), and able to build positive working relationships both internally and with clients.
  • An enthusiastic team player and have a positive approach and commitment to getting the best out of every day.
  • Able to work with good attention to detail.
  • Able to perform confidently, calmly and accurately even under pressure.
  • Comfortable working on a number of projects concurrently and able to prioritise effectively.
  • A smart thinker
  • Able to take responsibility and make decisions.

Any experience in e-learning or a related digital industry would be an advantage but not essential.
