Job Description

Brightwave, the leading global provider of digital learning content, products and services, has a great opportunity for a Project Manager to join our bespoke learning solutions production team.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our learning projects deliver revenue for Brightwave against team and individual targets. You will lead the planning and implementation of projects, define requirements, and manage budgets, deliverables and timelines as per the project scope, objectives and goals. While fostering successful relationships with our clients, you will also coordinate project staff and resource allocation throughout.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, market-leading business and to play a key role in its continued success. Working in a dynamic environment, this role has strong potential for growth, responsibility, and over achievement.

About You
You are an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic project manager, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, or you have experience in project coordination and are looking for the next opportunity to grow and develop your career.

Ideally you will have worked within the digital production sector – not necessarily e-learning, but this would be an advantage. You are passionate about leading, motivating and supporting a project team, as well as delighting your clients at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Primary responsibilities

You will:

  • manage the design, development and delivery of bespoke e-learning solutions, often with the support of a project co-ordinator.
  • achieve agreed revenue targets and constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders, both to clients and internally.
  • ensure the project team focuses on solutions that deliver business impact and client satisfaction.
  • actively manage clients so that project time, budget and quality targets are met whilst building client trust and satisfaction.
  • adhere to Brightwave quality procedures and project controls and will plan, monitor and control project budgets.
  • be able to travel (mainly within the UK) as required to meet the demands of the role.

Skills / Experience:

Essential

  • a professional, dynamic and positive attitude.
  • excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • good commercial awareness and ability to understand a project's business drivers.
  • able to work confidently with both internal and external stakeholders in order to secure optimal outcomes for the business.
  • demonstrable experience in a co-ordination or junior project management role and a proven track record of managing e-learning or multi-media projects up to £50k.
  • a creative approach to multimedia/online development and production and a broad technical understanding of technologies used in multimedia development.
  • experience of working in a digital agency.
  • genuine and enthusiastic interest in technology-based learning and performance support.
  • understanding of waterfall, agile and hybrid project management methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively.

Desirable

  • educated to degree level.
  • project management qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
  • understanding of the e-learning design and scriptwriting process.

Working at Brightwave includes the following advantages:

  • Competitive salaries and benefits
  • Real opportunities to develop your career
