Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join one of our bespoke learning solutions production teams.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll manage multiple projects (£100k-£500k) concurrently, working closely with a team of passionate specialists. You'll understand our business inside out and help guide our customers every step of the way, carefully balancing their expectations with their budget and the timelines. You'll be able to foster great, lasting relationships with our clients.

About You
You're a highly experienced, skilled and enthusiastic project manager, happy to work in a fast-moving environment at a senior level, probably within the digital production sector already. You are passionate about getting the very best from your team, as well as delighting customers at every stage of a project. You are confident in making the tough calls when you need to. You are looking for the next opportunity to grow and develop your already successful career in project management.


Primary responsibilities

You will:

  • Be responsible for managing the design, development and delivery of bespoke e-learning solutions, usually with the support of a project co-ordinator.
  • Actively manage clients so that project time, budget and quality targets are met whilst building client trust and satisfaction and developing long term relationships that deliver repeat business.
  • Achieve agreed revenue targets and provide accurate forecasting and progress reports along the way.
  • Work effectively with the sales teams on proposals and pitches where necessary; in particular taking a leading role in bids for any projects in your team.
  • Be able to travel (mainly within the UK) as required to meet the demands of the role.

Skills / Experience

You will have:

  • Experience of managing the successful implementation of concurrent digital and online projects from pre-sales and initial specification through to completion (£100K+) in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent face-to-face and written communication skills combined with exceptional people-skills which allow you to work confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand a project's business drivers.
  • A genuine and enthusiastic interest in technology-based learning and performance support.
  • An understanding of agile and of waterfall PM methodologies and the ability to use the best of each
